Carrying the Monogram into the Future — russet horizons POP-UP
russet
To mark its 25th anniversary, PAL Co., Ltd.’s brand russe launches “russet horizons,” a rebranding project exploring new possibilities aimed at a generation unfamiliar with the brand. In conjunction with the project, a pop-up event will be held at CONTRAST from May 29 to June 2. As part of an effort to refresh the familiar image of the brand’s monogram after 25 years, the project reinterprets its value through collaborations with artists and new creative approaches. Focusing on the “value of a single piece” beyond mass production, the project proposes a new perspective on fashion through one-of-a-kind reconstructed works and immersive spatial experiences. Under the direction of stylist Takashi Oyamada, participating artists, including KANEHIRO and POTTO, will present reconstructed works made from existing items. Blending exhibition, retail, and installation, the venue invites visitors not simply to “choose” products, but to “encounter” them. Each piece carries its own background and production process, while the project also incorporates sustainable perspectives through the reuse of unused materials. Visitors are invited to experience the visually striking space and the stories embedded within these one-of-a-kind works. — Reception: 5/29(Fri) 17:00 - 21:00 Date: 5/30(Sat) – 6/2(Tue) Time: 11:00 – 19:00 (until 17:00 on 6/2 only) Admission: Free Venue: CONTRAST
