Sellenatela will be hosting Limited Salon “ECHOES” – a passage to the origin at CONTRAST in Tomigaya on September 26 (Sat.) and 27 (Sun.), curated around the theme of “ECHOES” — resonance, with a focus on Sellenatela’s new suede series and the coming season. MARCOMONDE (legwear), minoi (vintage clothing), JöICEADDED (clothing), and Yumeno Ogawa(vintage goods & styling) will be joining. MARCOMONDE will bring socks and tights, while minoi will present vintage pieces including thermals, military pants, leggings, and sweatshirts. JöICEADDED will showcase new pieces from its 26AW collection, arriving from late September to early October, including knitwear, tops, and pants. Stylist Yumeno Ogawa will create styling combinations featuring the clothing, legwear, and Sellenatela shoes, and will also offer antique aprons, tableware, and other vintage goods sourced in Europe. Sellenatela will present its current collection, with a focus on the new suede ABIGAIL / GINA. Returning to Tomigaya, where Sellenatela previously had its showroom “HALL by Sellenatela,” this two-day salon brings together people and things that resonate with one another. A new brand〈MAAI〉for adult women who live lightly in the city will launch on Saturday, September 19, along with its first pop-up store, “MAAI MARCHE,” at CONTRAST. What 〈MAAI〉 values is the idea that style is not completed by clothing alone, but is created from the individuality and sensibility of the person wearing it, their mood of the day, and unexpected encounters. As a place to experience this worldview, the pop-up shop “MAAI MARCHE” will be held. Like a flea market you might casually stop by while traveling in Europe, these five days will be an opportunity to choose things you like based on your own sensibility and enjoy unexpected encounters with people and objects. At the venue, various contents that allow visitors to experience the brand’s worldview will be presented, including the first collection. In 2022, CONTRAST opened as a creative space in Yoyogi-Hachiman, Tokyo. The interior, based on a 45-year-old structure, consists of three floors under the concept of "reconstruction," and is managed by IN FOCUS, a digital branding studio that operates under the theme of "We propose new perspectives through a collective pursuit of digital excellence.". The space not only serves as its own creative space but also aims to be widely open to the public, providing a space for continuous and experimental reconstruction by its users, breaking free from limitations. Focusing on various forms of expression and encountering the creators who produce them, we will come to understand the importance of "CONTRAST = comparison" in our endeavors.
